Red Star Raceway - A Premier South African Motorsports Venue!

The Red Star Raceway Track has been a dream the owner, Jacques van Wyngaardt and his family, have been nurturing for a very long time. After careful consideration and planning during 2009, a piece of land was bought and all was well under way to start the development of the track. Everything progressed according to plan, but due to heavy rainfalls during the summer season, the development was delayed by at least two months. It's now been a year. Can you believe it? During the past year the pit area and pavilion were completed, the shop and restaurant got into full swing, and the children's play area has become a big hit! The shopping area or Red Star Square, as it is called, has also enjoyed much needed attention. The catering area is completed. Then the largest area within the Square is the Red Star Race Shop, where accessories can be bought and most of the leading motorcycle brands will be on display and for sale. So remember your cheque book or credit card!		The children's play ground and pool area is fantastic for children's entertainment. There is also a kids playroom/movie house within the Square area where the kids can keep themselves busy by viewing movies or playing games. There is more than enough entertainment to keep the kids occupied while the parents are out riding. The track has settled in nicely offering an abundance of grip and excitement in every corner. Track lap times continue to improve and riders come back time and again for the challenge Red Star offers. If you haven't joined us for a track day or race event, you are missing a fantastic opportunity to practice and perfect your riding skills, no matter what level of rider you are. Therefore surf our website on a regular basis for any new developments within Red Star Raceway. The Red Star Raceway is within easy travel distance from O.R. Tambo International Airport. Red Star Raceway is situated right next to the N12 highway towards Witbank!

Red Star Raceway is 4km long, has 13 turns and 5 straights. As you know it’s designed to ride clockwise and anti clockwise. This makes the track really unique. We will keep you updated with progress of the track. The avid rider will drool to see what has developed at Red Star Raceway to date.
